Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?
Wear athletic gear. Be prepared to move! For upper body injuries, please wear a t-shirt or tank top so that we can have access to the area that is bothering you. For lower body injuries, please wear shorts.
What should you expect?
Expect to be greeted at the door! We want you to feel valued, and this is our first priority. It is normal to experience soreness or some increased pain during your evaluation. We are looking into finding the root cause of your pain, and sometimes this involves identifying painful movement patterns.During your first visit, we will sit down and create a customizable plan for you to perform on your own in-between sessions. Our goal is to get you back to the things you enjoy doing!
How do I pay?
We accept the following forms of payment: cash, check, credit card, HSA, and FSA.
Do you take insurance?
No, we are a cash-based practice. As mentioned above, we can utilize HSA and FSA.
Why do you not take insurance?
We believe that customer care should be decided by the physical therapist and not dictated by the insurance company. We also understand that there are techniques that insurance companies will not reimburse, such as manual therapy, dry needling, and other recovery modalities. We want to provide you with the quality of care that you deserve, and that is for us to be with you and walk you through each activity. You will not have a physical therapist stuck on their computer working on documentation in order to stay caught up because they have 15+ clients for that day.
Why Are You Out-Of-Network Physical Therapy?
We’ve chosen to operate as an out-of-network physical therapy practice because we believe in prioritizing quality care over insurance constraints. By being out-of-network, we can focus solely on providing personalized, one-on-one attention to our clients without being restricted by insurance company guidelines. This approach allows us to deliver the highest standard of care tailored specifically to your needs, ensuring you receive the attention and treatment you deserve for optimal recovery and performance.
How long are the sessions?
The sessions will last one hour.
What is a superbill?
A superbill is a detailed medical receipt that we provide at the end of your session. It includes all the necessary information about the services you received, such as the date of service, types of treatments provided, and associated charges. For those with out-of-network insurance benefits, you can submit the superbill to your insurance company for potential reimbursement based on your plan’s coverage. It serves as documentation of the services rendered during your visit to our practice.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that things come up, but we do require a 24-hour notice for cancellation or rescheduling. You will be charged for your session if you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours.
